Finally Friday . 4/15/11

So here it is Friday, April 15th, finally...
Not you're typical April 15rh either.
The citizens of the great United States
of America have been granted an unusual
extension for filing their Income Tax Return...
3 more days, People, due to a holiday.
Gotta love that, right?

Fortunately, I filled a few weeks ago, so
the pressure is off...

Met up with Melanie Cohen founder of
SocialMiami.com @ my Studio yesterday.
We went on to Michael's Genuine in the
Design District for a most perfect and
delicious lunch.

Not only is Michael's the bench mark for
all things great in the food world, you gotta
love going to a restaurant where the entire
staff goes out of it's way in making you feel
so welcomed and appreciated.

We had perfectly prepared Cohiba with
aoili, atop sauteed kale with the most
amazing crunch from being fired up in
the uber hot, wood burning oven.

Followed by Pastry Chef extraordinaire,
Hedy Goldsmith's frozen Greek yogurt
with fresh sliced strawberries and drizzled
with balsamic glaze. Unlike anything I've
ever tasted. Accompanied by the most
exquisite Madelines ever.

The Design District is buzzing with the
news of the Louis Vuitton Boutique, leaving
Bal Harbour Shops and opening there.
It is my understanding this is just the tip
of the iceberg, People...

More surprising and exciting Retail establishments
to follow in the near future. Take my word for this.

I predict that the Design District is about to become
the uber center of all things chic and artistic in the
entire World as we know it today : )

Back @my Studio, I spent the afternoon doing Art.
Yahoo...So long overdue.

By 6:15PM, accompanied by my friend Artist, Michael Enns,
we were on So. Beach @The Wolfsonian for a opening on
Poster Art. We sat thru the lecture before perusing the
Gallery.

Stunning show. Hope you all are able to check it out.

Home and in bed by 10PM.

All things considered this was an easy day for me...

On tap for today a Tea Party, Garden Style in Coral Gables,
at Michael Enn's home.
Artist Evo Love, Evo's friend, a Street Artist visiting from NYC,
Photographer Amanda Hudson
and Tai Chi Master/Healer, Stephanie Rosenblatt among the
expected attendees.

Depending on how I survive the day, will determine my
plans, if any for this evening.

Off to Gino's Italian Grocery this morning to buy fixings
and to Mimi's Ravioli for their magnificent cibata bread
and muffins.

I know I'm in for a beautiful, memorable afternoon in
the making.

Sending out wishes for all things good and great for
each one of us today.
May the Universe shine it's magnificence on us all,
as we make our way out into the World.

Keep a positive attitude and remember to pass it forward.

Monkey see.
Monkey do.

Peace and love : )
